Our philosophy
Purchasing and maintaining properties require a substantial commitment in today's economy. People who enjoy being in their yard, whether it's for relaxing, working or entertaining, deserve to have a space that they can be proud of and fully enjoy. Having a "private green space" that is a retreat from the rigors of day-to-day life can provide an immeasurable benefit to the mind and the soul. It is in this vein that On The Green Side was founded to contribute to making this a reality for homeowners who are looking for such a space.
1. Solutions should be both functional and appreciated by the clients
Client communication and input in the planning process is critical to the implementation of the project plan. Clients' needs and budgets are assessed to arrive at a proposed solution. Involvement in the plant selection process for planting projects is encouraged to the degree desired by the client.
2. Projects should be practical and cost-effective
The most cost-effective solutions are proposed to meet client needs taking into account both short and long-term goals. Plantings are selected that will perform well in the habitat they occupy. Projects are implemented working with "the lay of the land" and are "plant-centric" to maintain cost-effectiveness. Plants are sited balancing cost and the need to provide the desired density within the time frame agreed upon.
3. Project implementation should have a high attention to detail from start to finish
Projects implemented, no matter how large or small, should look neat and "finished" when completed. Attention to detail is critical to provide a finished product that both the client and our company can be proud of.
